Week 9/10
Exercise Physiology For the next few weeks we will be looking at the third part to our 1.2 assessment, which is exercise physiology. This means the body's response to exercise, either immediately, or over the long term (after training). The following slide show displays all of the information that we have covered over the last few theory lessons, ranging from the functioning of the heart, the flow of blood, and the effect of exercise on your body. Along with this is the way that our body creates ATP, or Adenosine Triphosphate, in 3 different ways. Please be aware of how long these energy systems are used for whenever you exercise.
